White Pack Mayıs Black Tea 1000 g

Berberoğlu White Pack Mayıs Tea is made from leaves picked during the May harvest in the tea gardens of Rize. Free from additives and composed of large leaf pieces, it reveals a clear, bright brew and a familiar taste from the very first steep.

Why Mayıs Tea?

Mayıs tea is the first flush of the year — the very first leaves the tea plant produces after spending winter beneath the snow. Compared with later flushes, it is fresher and more aromatic; the soft, mellow character imparted by snowmelt water is what sets this tea apart.

Brewing suggestion

Add one teaspoon of tea per person to the upper pot of a Turkish double teapot (çaydanlık), pour on freshly boiled water and allow to steep for 25 minutes. If you prefer a stronger brew, leave it a little longer.
